Dirt Devil Royal Roller 2LC0200000 Review

Worked for just over 3 years with no problems which is a bit surprising as the reason for failure was the trapezoidal end cap becoming detached and looking inside you can see that the bearing was not centered and has shifted somewhat over time.

Okay, this is really funny. This cam element lacks the bearing end cap. I had to use a vacuum and luckily I had a good vacuum on my old roller. This item can only be returned for a refund and then another purchased. I don't know why this policy has changed, but what has been added to easy item exchange?

I will request a refund. This reel is not the same dimensions as the original as you can see in the photos. The groove will be cut in the wrong place and rubbed during installation, and the belt space may not match. In terms of quality, this is a cheap wooden roller, not cast plastic like the original.

This roller was a direct replacement for the roller in our Dirt Devil Vision. The price was great and it seemed to work well. First. After about 2 months the roller started to jam. I tried cleaning it but it didn't help. The next time I used the vacuum cleaner, it began to vibrate violently. One of the end caps has melted. I cleaned everything and changed the plugs. Original review removed due to poor quality of bearings which affects the quality of the rest of the product. I'm amending this review as one of the bearings on the reel side has failed. Assembly "I thought this product would hold up better than the original but the problem was still the same; the bearing failed causing the only plastic in this assembly to melt and destroy it.
