you will be fine If you have a high refresh rate, monitor that.

It's more my fault for not reading carefully enough, if you do something at 60Hz you'll be fine. If you have monitors with high refresh rates that exceed this value, it will no longer appear in the settings. While everything else is fine.

Pretty good cable in the video cable range

I needed a bit more length to get my second monitor to the other side of the table. The length was perfect! I was a bit surprised to learn that I had to check the connection 3 times before I got a signal on the monitor. Not sure what the problem is, everything worked fine with the old cable (pretty sure it was the same brand). After the third disconnect and reconnect everything worked fine!

Great alternative to monitor cables.

This cable has been an incredible addition to my computer. When my lovely wife bought me an MSI 2060 RTX graphics card for Christmas 2019, I was able to get this cable for one of my two monitors. This optimized the graphics and my settings. The price was great and the quality was great. Highly recommend this cable if you want to save a few bucks just to get your system up and running.

If you have a DVI monitor but your computer only has a display port, get that one.

My company's Lattitude E5440 easily recognizes an old Optiquest LCD monitor with a DVI connector via a DisplayPort connector on a port replicator. The image looks stable and is recognized at every start. I got this because I didn't want an unattractive DisplayPort to DVI dongle hanging from the back of my port replicator. The cable is of typical cable quality and should withstand typical monitor cable abuse. Now everyone at work is jealous of my three monitor setup!

Didn't work at all.

Bought to use my old monitor with my dock. The display port on the dock worked with a different monitor and cable, and the DVI inputs on the two monitors I tried worked with an HDMI-to-DVI cable. Regardless of the combination and video settings I tried, I couldn't get this cable to work with any monitor. I have to believe the cable is bad because I was able to test all the other inputs and outputs. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to test the component before the return window closed. 30…

Works exactly as advertised

This test assumes you want to connect a DVI monitor to a DisplayPort video card, not a DVI video card to a DisplayPort monitor, as that is my current configuration. I recently got a new graphics card that only had a DVI. output, one HDMI output and three Displayport outputs. Because of the nature of my work, I have three screens.
