Absolutely perfect for small projects! Think complex quilting or small transformations!

I have a terrible time putting off projects. I do this because the hassle of getting all my tools and gear out seems so intimidating. I recently had this quilt drawing with a very intricate design, perfect for working in my studio or just getting up and going to another room (where the light was better) to finish the mundane parts of such a large project. . Uneven Cutting Mat

Firstly, this cutting mat is smaller than expected - I probably didn't read carefully enough so keep an eye on it. Second, the cutting mat is not flat. It has a gradual bulge in the center that is resistant to flattening. Damaged I think probably because it was packed with other items and shrink wrapped. It also doesn't work well on a flat table. Great for the price, be careful what you ship with it

This is a great little kit and it worked well for my purpose of cutting out little protective sheets for my Tamagotchis. However, my cutting mat arrived bent and punctured. It was sent in a padded postal envelope, so I'm guessing it must have had something heavy on it at some point, and the blade cartridges or something else must have dented and deformed it. If possible I would suggest shipping this with larger items to ensure they are packaged. I've only used the flat end so far, but hopefully
