🔌 DJI Mavic Mini Two-Way Charging Hub: Charge 3 Batteries Efficiently with this Drone Accessory Review

This is a great idea from DJI: a triple charger that doubles as a power adapter and can charge connected devices like a controller. Just awesome! Since I always have one of the three battery packs in my Mini, I 3D printed a storage case that fits into one of the battery ports as you can see in the picture.

Because drone batteries don't inherently last very long, it's important to have more batteries on hand. What's really great about this charger hub is that it's a great way to set up all your batteries for charging, but it's also very convenient to carry so you can have backup batteries. The button on the device itself for checking the battery level (even when it's not connected to the network and not charging) is large and very useful. This is important for anyone with a Mavic Mini.

There are several advantages to using this loading hub. Most obviously, you can have three batteries charged in series, highest charge first, then next higher, etc. If you have a second charger, you can also charge the battery in the drone at the same time. It can also be used as a charging station for your other devices like your phone. This is essential if you want to get the most out of your Mini!

I was concerned that the product does not have a power adapter, and the reviews said about the 18W power adapter, well, the adapter for fast charging a cell phone is more than enough to charge three empty ones. The charger isn't bad but many 5 star reviews are generous at best. I'd say it's decent but far from great. A few criticisms: #1 The charger does not include a power plug. Simple and easy-to-use product for Mavic Mini battery charger and controller. If you have the basic kit, the only way to charge the batteries is to put them in the drone.
