Description of DMC 116 5 310 Cotton Thread

This pearl cotton thread balls is soft, silky, does not fluff or kink. Made of 100 percent long fiber cotton finest. This thread have double mercerising which gives it its beautiful pearlised sheen. After washing, wrap the embroidery in a towel to remove excess water, then dry flat. Available in black color.

Misleading product description

This product photo and the price led me to believe I was getting multiple skeins in one box. In fact, only one ball of thread was delivered. Nobody pays $10+ for the amount of one.

NOT CORRECT!

I ordered this, it seemed to me a good order as the photo shows a box of 8 skeins of black thread - the description also says "BALLS", nowhere is it indicated, That this is only for a ball I get - and I've paid a lot more for it - each ball is usually around $3 not $8. This is plain and simple false advertising.

False advertising and representation.

The picture shows a box with eight spools of thread. The description says "Balls" (plural). I received a spool of thread (no box). The price per spool of thread was almost double that of other suppliers for a single spool of thread. I know the number of these coils because I've used them before. Buyer Warning. Choose another provider.

Disappointed because the seller charged separate postage for each of the 3 spools of thread even though they came in one package.

I was in dire need of thread to finish a project with a tight deadline. Each spool of thread weighed 10 grams each for a total of 30 grams and each was included and shipped in the same packaging. This can be viewed as a mugging; I don't understand how they could justify the allegations.
