DMM Dragon Cam for outdoor activities

My first set of Dragon cameras that I bought from Amazon. I am very happy with the DMM Dragon cams because they are easy to use and durable. I love the retractable rail that is built into these cameras and have not had any issues with it so far.

Dragon Cam 6 - Climbing

These cameras are lighter than the Camalot, have the same range and an extendable strap. What's not to like? This is a really good camera for free climbing. The only issue you might have is that the thumb loop on the C4 makes it very secure in your hands and the dragon doesn't feel that secure as a result. Although I've personally never had any problems with it.

pull the trigger Literally

On difficult climbs where I'll probably need lots of pros, I wear doubles. For me it's the BD C4 Set (Standard) and the Dragons Set. When I'm doing alpine stuff, where singles probably just need a light attitude, I go with the Dragons. The Dragon cameras cover pretty much the same area as the C4 and (thank goodness) use the exact same color scheme. Some are concerned about the lack of a thumb loop. I never noticed. That means they are placed well and easily. I think they are a little lighter…
