DooLallies Christmas Stocking Kit Santa Review

Not enough yarn for the beard. Very limited with yarn - need to be conservative. Had to order a second pack to get enough to complete the project. Directions were easy to follow.

I have knitted many stockings over the years and was looking for a different model. It was very easy to do. I used my own type of yarn as I wasn't happy with the yarn that came with the kit. But I am very happy with the result and added an extra design to the leg but would buy more sets if I like the design.

For someone who last touched knitting needles (and didn't even build a square then) over 50 years ago, it started out as something of a whim. Despite several unsuccessful starts and numerous errors, I still received a more than tolerable product! I had several knowledgeable knitters to help me decode the instructions (and show me how to knit stitches) and I was able to find YouTube videos that explained pretty much everything else.
