Dorman 74437 Sunvisor Clip Replacement: 👍 Secure and Reliable Sun Visor Holder Upgrade Review

I bought this for my Honda Insight 2000 which had a broken driver visor clip. Yes, it installs just as well as the original. I put the visor in the clip and it was a little tighter than expected. When I tried to detach the visor, the plastic "roller" on the visor broke. This is a VERY tight clip and I would not recommend it on a 2000-2006 Honda Insight.

Ordered to replace my Honda CrV 06. It was very easy to install and fits well in the ceiling groove. My sun visor is no longer hanging in my face! The downside is that the slot that the visor snaps into is very narrow, to the point where the visor won't slide out. I can try lubricating it to loosen the visor and then sanding the clip a bit, but I'm frustrated with the extra steps to make the clip usable. If it hadn't been for 5 stars.

I bought this for a 2000 Civic hatchback that I bought on Craigslist. It was easy to install. No tools required, just watch Youtube videos. It fits perfectly. The only problem with this is that it is too tight on the visor. I have to struggle to unhook my visor so I can keep the sun out of my side window. This is very annoying. I hope it gets easier to take it off the hook as it gets older.

This part is a perfect match for the headliner. However, there are several problems. First, the color is light gray. So if you're looking for the inside of the original Atlas Gray clip, this isn't it. Other than that, it doesn't really matter as it's hidden behind the sun visor most of the time. Second, it is too small for the original visor. It is perfect for the replacement goldpar sun visor where the original clip is too big.

The description online, the Revain auto parts reviewer and the box itself says this is a 'straight replacement' for my 1998 Honda CR-V visor clip. It technically works, but it doesn't fit properly. The clip is not as snug on the headliner as it should be, even when properly placed. Also, the clamping gap is a bit too small for the thickness of the sight cylinder it is designed to fit.
