A simple quick fix, not a full replacement

This was a very simple fix to a serious problem and an easy way to avoid a costly replacement. Compression sleeves and it's good.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Older model

Worked great with no leaks.

When replacing the heads, the AC line on my jeep broke. I cut the disconnect and put it in and when it was fully charged it didn't leak. This was also on the high pressure side. Saved me a lot of time and money. And this is a reliable long-term solution.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Quality

The air conditioning line did not have to be changed.

Easy to install after finding a leak in my Suburban's rear AC line. I cut the hose, installed the fitting, vacuumed and primed the system. Made last summer (2020) and not a drop has leaked since. Very economical and labor-saving product.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Crumpled

Impressive!: Parts

Yes, for my 2008 Suburban it works and looks good. I didn't want an extra port in the system. I had to have it because I really didn't want to shell out $400 for a factory AC back hose. Tip: Clean and sand the aluminum tube with 360 grit or higher sandpaper. More importantly, deburr the AC line and don't forget the mineral oil on the green gasket. The line size I fixed was 3/8

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Appearance

I used this to fix a leak in my Trane AC coil at home. It worked! Pressure retention greater than 200 psi on top of spiral tubing (3/8 inch diameter tubing). Be sure to cut the tubing square and insert it fully into the fittings, first without tightening the green washers, then opening and inserting the washers and tightening to specification. Don't overtighten. Getting a new compressor would be a long wait, not to mention expensive. called an AC repair technician to actually charge it.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Quality Spares Part

If you know how to use a pipe cutter and have access to a correctly sized wrench, this is an easy fix to an annoying problem. I was on my 9 hour drive home at 2am when my air conditioning went out. Located where the hose to my rear A/C had rubbed against the rear spring hanger. I checked online and found that the original part is an extra long block that runs from the engine bay to the trunk and will cost around $500. Was looking for other options and found this little clutch. Worked great…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Working Speed

The skeptic is now a believer!

I was skeptical about this repair. On a customer's Ford E-150, a hard line rubbed a spring support near the driver's side rear wheel. It worked great! My Robinair 34700z held a good vacuum. System loaded and started. 250psi and no leaks! Here's what I did: I undid the clamps holding the leash in place and carefully positioned it to make the repair easier. Scotchbrite brushed the area to clean it. Cut out frayed/damaged tubing (about 2 inches). cut) and cut off the ends. Bend the line. Wipe with

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
