This automotive cable is a complete waste of money. The gearstick is hard to move and doesn't accurately shift gears. The only advantage of this product is the low cost. However, the low price is not worth the poor performance. Save yourself the trouble and purchase a higher quality replacement part instead.

It's easy to install apart from the hassle of removing the console. A real pain, but it's not the parts maker blaming the Jeep engineers for making this smelly design. For this reason I will not buy a genuine part for a jeep.

I bought one of these in December 2019. Today the 7/8 socket jumped out under the switching column. It's pretty poor quality if you ask me. If you consider that the factory socket initially lasted 12 years. Who sells the case itself?
