My 2001 Civic keeps the transmission oil where it should be, thanks. The old one dangled in the hole. Honda transmissions are so accurate we don't need junk in the transmission. I love my Civic and want to take every advantage I can to get it a million miles.

Just what my 2003 Honda needed to stop a small transmission oil leak I found. The old dipstick literally just wobbled above the hole. He didn't lean in or sit down at all. This new one slips and fits just right! No more shaking and no more flowing!

Fits perfectly on my 2005 Honda Civic. Yes, the yellow rubber on the handle is thicker than the original. If you don't have elephant hands, that's not a problem, especially if the dipstick is just checked periodically. The important thing is that it fits the hole snugly and tightly, unlike the old worn out regular one.

05 A Honda Civic with a 1.7 liter automatic was leaking gear oil from under the body. I noticed that the transmission fuel cap is loose in its hole. This allowed the gear oil to leak around the plug. This new cork fits tighter and seems to have solved the problem.

This is much better than the factory stick. I bought one from the factory for a 2004 Civic and it was just loose in the socket allowing liquid to spill over the edge.
