Dorman M390024 Brake Master Cylinder Review

I recently purchased a brake master cylinder for my performance car from this brand, and I was disappointed with its performance .Automotive safety shouldn't be compromised by cheap parts, and unfortunately, thats what this product is. Through trial and error, I found that it failed to provide the necessary pressure to properly engage my brakes. The only advantage of this cylinder is that it is affordable. However i wouldn't recommend sacrificing brake quality for a lower price..

I'm updating the review now that the master cylinder has been in service for two years. It wasn't a problem; have no regrets with this purchase and I think it's a better choice than a rebuilt unit, depending. With that in mind, I can forgive the misleading photo that suggests it comes with a new tank. Reusing the old one isn't a big deal, and remanufactured ones don't come with a tank either.
