Description of Dot Genie Google WiFi Pro Outlet Holder Mount [Old And New 2020 Version]: The Strongest

Because this mount is held in place by the outlet cover it works with the old rectangular plug (2017-fall 2020) AND the newest round plug (fall 2020-present) You will love it!. Our made in the USA, Patent-Pending design holds the mount firmly to the wall by slipping behind the outlet cover and is held there with only minimal pressure from the cover plate. Still easy to move and no holes to patch!. The only mount that works on VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL outlets making tight spots accessible. Any open electrical outlet in your home or business can become a Google WiFi beacon, making the setup of your network so much simpler. The Dot Genie Google WiFi Mount PRO uses the cord that comes with your router and wraps it neatly around our patented "Cord Groove Organizer".

works as advertised

I installed Google WiFi horizontally in hard to reach places. Holds up well so far, no problems. The cord coiled easily in the pocket. I haven't had any problems with the outlets in my 1950's house since they were replaced 6 years ago.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Expensive

Great concept but doesn't work

The concept of this device is great but it doesn't really work. The Wi-Fi puck is too heavy and the holder slides out from behind the socket cover rendering it unusable. I have returned the product and will try another holder but other holders are not as versatile as this one. That is, the ability to hang to the left or right of the outlet or below.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • No mold required

Excellent Signal - Computers & Accessories

We bought a large house and have 1 downstairs, 2 upstairs where most of the bedrooms are and one downstairs and we never go out signal.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I'm concerned

It falls out of its socket and lands on the floor!

You will need to mount this to a wall plate with two screws, which won't happen as most modern homes only have one screw on the wall plates and the unit is guaranteed to fall out and bounce onto your floor! I'm sending them back. You are not working.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Damaged

Fits perfectly. - Wireless Access Points

Very snug fitting, took about a minute to install just because I didn't wrap the cable properly the first time. I actually have a loose stem as well and it still sits very securely on it, I really think it made the stem more stable, don't know how but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend this if you have Google Wi-Fi.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
