I ordered two sets and one of each set had cracked RF coils with broken internal wires on the board. Impossible to repair without unwinding the whole spool. I managed to get a good set. Terrible quality control and just plain bad hot glue application. I've added extra hot glue to good kits and they work well.

First I had to re-solder a few connections. Second, they are now designed to handle the performance they were designed for. Even at moderate volume, the plastic core liner melted at a low cooling level. After all, they're just for the tweeter and ultra-low bass. Averages are missing completely. I had to remove the secondary bypass inductor from the top end and the bypass capacitor from the bottom end and now the mids pass through fine. I'll replace them if I find a good deal. I would not…
