I've been using tretinoin cream sporadically for years to treat adult acne. It works great, but the side effect is angular cheilitis (dryness at the corners of the mouth). My doctor said the best treatment is a combination of an over-the-counter antifungal cream (like clotrimazole) with 1% topical hydrocortisone. It works great but it's messy and weird lol. Recommended by a friend as my son is taking Accutane for acne. This friend also takes Accutane. She said it was for the best.
