These scissors are amazing. I've recently dabbled in soft flies. The fly material is very scarce. Many of them have only thread and scale feathers. My old scissors wouldn't let me cut the strand close enough to the thread. There was always a stub sticking out. Very annoying. Problem solved. With these scissors I was able to cut the strand so close to the thread I couldn't even see where it was. This is without a doubt the best pair of scissors I have ever owned. I wasn't expecting the tip to be 90º bent. It's useful in some situations, but I still have to get used to it. Sometimes I have to adjust them to get the right angle. The scissors fit my fingers well and cut great!

There is a downside to using this product for tying flies! It's really spicy! I accidentally cut the thread several times. Otherwise, these are the best scissors I've ever had! I can't be wrong

Absolutely the best scissors I've ever had! Extremely sharp wit with a very fine tip and good ergonomics. The tension control works great. I thought it might be a trick, but it's executed flawlessly and it really works! I can't be happier with my purchase. I wish I had bought them sooner.

I use these scissors for tying small trout flies. The scissors are very sharp and the tips match perfectly allowing me to trim or cut with no frills. They are my new favorites.

I knit bow ties, lots of them, and cut yarn, yarn, yarn and fiber - lots of things again. And I have other cheaper scissors, lots of them too. These scissors Dr. Tension adjustable Slick is easily the best utility scissors in this batch. However, I never use them on a wire. It's like cutting sandstone with a pocket knife. I'm sure the scissors will be great as always Dr. Slick but the delivery from this seller is terrible. Never again. There and back could go much faster.

The product is inexpensive. I've been using it for a few weeks and have not been disappointed. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not worried. Right size, accurate and cuts clean.
