Not quite right: Body

Good but not Dr. bs! The smell isn't up there (I like Dr. Bronner's super fun minty aspect because my nose doesn't work very well. Dr. Wood's scent is barely noticeable to me). Since switching I've also started to feel dry skin on my shoulders as I use this as a body wash. However, seems great for hand washing and general cleaning

No real alternative to Dr. Bronners

While this product isn't bad, you'll probably be a bit disappointed if you buy it to replace Dr. to find Bronners. Soap doesn't bubble as well as Dr. Bronners. The viscosity is much thicker than Dr. Bronners, which makes you think it's going crazy, but it's not. You'll have to use a half dollar or two of soap to get the same lather as with a lot less Dr. Bronner.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Reliability

Lovely scent goes with cleaners

I bought this product for my garden (for all purposes!) The blend I need calls for this ingredient and I love the smell of it - even before I even mix my botanical blend. I gave Re: Sensitive Skin and Moisturizing 3 stars - ONLY because I didn't buy it for beauty use. But it smells GREAT!

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Good soap Body soap

Good repair soap. Natural hydration. Not minty enough for what I use it for so I had to purchase the essential oil separately to mix with myself. pleasant texture; not too thick or thin. There is some foam, but not too much. Overall happy with this product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost never

Not as good as another Dr's brand

If you're a fan of Mint Castile Soap, Dr. Bronners are stronger and can be thinned for other uses. I found this to be a weaker mix. Less fragrant.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Concise Instructions

Suitable for coco betaine allergy sufferers

Good for sensitive skin. I'm allergic to coco betaine so I can use this cleanser, it still foams. Has a pleasant mint smell. A big bottle lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Not a very good soap at all

I bought this soap as a cheap alternative to Dr. Bought Bronner's mint soap. I bought two 32 ounce bottles for about $20 which wasn't bad at all. However, when I used it, it wasn't "minty" at all and didn't feel like a minty chill on my skin. Also, it didn't lather very well. This substance takes four times more to lather and purify than Dr. Bronner. When used as a shampoo, it leaves an odd film that makes hair feel less clean. mint soap dr Wool's wasn't very impressed.

Pros
  • Fair performance
Cons
  • Can be damaged

gave me hives - cleanser

i got dr Bronners for decades and thought this might be a good change. I had hives on my chest constantly. It was that soap. I stopped using it and the hives stopped. Don't think for a second that it's like the Bronners, it's not. Something gave me a severe allergic reaction. It smells great, watery. But be careful.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • too dumb

Refreshing but not overwhelming

My husband and I use this shower soap. This is a premium product sold at a fair price. The mint in the product leaves a tingling sensation on the skin after use, but is by no means overwhelming. This is definitely a winner and we're glad we chose this product from Dr. Wood decided.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and longevity
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
