Works while welding! fits ball joints

later The product is too wide for the liner so the rocker control makes it rotate back and forth which slowly releases the ball. The part should be welded to the receiver.

Cons
  • I'll write

Check the dimensions in the ball joints

Read the description carefully. It didn't fit my bullet stock or receiver. I had to change it. I had to send it back. My fault for not reading the details.

Cons
  • Quick start guide

not suitable for 2 " ball - unusable

I have returned this item. it did not match the advert. Not sure what it was cut for - but not the right size for the 2 ball hitch, sir which it should fit.

Cons
  • small parts

Does this trick work for ball joints

It will help but I would prefer to have a bottom mounting plate like the ones I have for my class 3 ball joint. It just seems like it would be sturdier and help movement resist.

Cons
  • upgrades

Check the size of your ball joint.

Warning. If you need a sway control system, you probably have a larger trailer and ball hitch (2" to 2 1/8"). If so, then this bracket is too small. You need item #26003, NOT #26005.

Cons
  • Can't remember

Not for 2 " hitches!

As mentioned before this bracket will not work with 2" hitches. I wish the description was clear and the size of the hole was in the description. That Hole for bracket is 2 1/8" and the 2" coupler requires a 2 1/2" hole.

Cons
  • Not bad but...

This should get the job done.

Very difficult operating conditions. The center to center spacing is just what you need. Check the size of the "notch" in relation to the width of your particular hitch. Mine was used on a motorcycle clutch so the notch was too wide to stop it so I had to weld it in place.

Cons
  • Some problems

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Too thin, curved.

Slightly loose as the tongue notch is about 1/8 inch wider than the tongue. Worst of all, she bent over. Too small angle between vehicle and trailer. It flexed when towing a 2400# Subaru trailer which should be within the specs for this item. I have since replaced it with a welded tab which is much stronger. The tongue was welded in a metal workshop and is very strong. I think the 1/4" metal on this adapter is too thin.

Cons
  • Almost OK
