I really liked this playpen so I bought another one for the house.

I really liked this playpen so I bought another one for nursery at home. This is similar to the Guava Lotus crib but much cheaper. You have to remove all the legs completely to store them, but for the price I don't mind and it doesn't take long to set up. I have a daycare at home and love that the mattress snaps into the frame and not Velcro (my kids love not to sleep and have learned to remove the lotus velcro to play around with the mattress pad). The sheets are difficult to put on, but again

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • No color required

Fits in suitcase

Bought to take our grandson to Hawaii. We were able to stuff this in a suitcase (with some other stuff) to use on holiday where the cost of hiring a cot was more than buying a travel cot. This device "fits" easily in large luggage, leaving room for other items. It's durable, easy to assemble and big enough for a 1-year-old to sleep in. However, this isn't the same kind of "pop-up" crib. The legs are detachable and tucked inside so you have to fumble around putting them on and taking them apart…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Recommendation as needed

Conclusion: If you are only going to use it as a travel cot and you are happy with what I think is a moderate amount of labor and set up time, I would recommend saving money on the purchase. If you're looking for something that's easy to put on and take off, I'd go for the little Björn. The setup took about 5-10 minutes. It's not difficult, but cumbersome enough that I wouldn't use it other than as a travel cot, and I needed something that I could use for both indoor and outdoor play areas, as…

Lightweight, durable portable crib!

I was looking for something to take on vacation with my incredibly large 14 month old. Had (now gone) a package for my older boys (8 and 5). There is also a summer playground for kids (round) but too big to take/pack for a 2 week trip (ideal for quick overnight hotel trips for storage/sleeping). I was looking for travel/sling beds and came across this one. Read reviews here and at Walmart, and see more expensive versions at Buy Buy Baby. Went with it (3rd child, didn't want to spend a lot!)…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

I went on vacation, broke up, slept in the arena, everyone slept!

Here's what I know: We got a used Chicco Pack and Play from a friend and EVERYTHING is included (hello, free!), But it was HARD. I'm in shape but it was CARGO, it wasn't easy to move and it wasn't that easy to break down and store. We were planning to drive 4 hours away to grandparents house and with ALL the baby stuff you need for the trip we really didn't know if everything would fit. So I was looking for a lighter travel bag and an option to play with. I've narrowed my choices down to Lotus…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
