Just what I needed to store the full size Bernina coils. Now I can easily see which colors I have already wrapped. The coils are held firmly in place but easily pull out of the foam mount. The case snaps into place and does not open unexpectedly. Holds a good number. This is a transparent case. Wouldn't change anything. I have a Bernina 475QE.

Ideal for Bernina 880 bobbins, prevents wear and silver abrasion. The whooping rooms are big enough that even a red sponge won't rub the silver onto the coils. Many Bernina owners spend a lot of money on coils only to have them replaced as the silver wears out. I love it but the price is high, really high. But I think it's worth the cost.

This is a very good bobbin case for my Bernina 780 machine. The bobbins have a silver side which may not stay if mishandled. I love this case but am afraid that the spongy parts where the coils are placed might rub off some of the silver sides. The material is too hard in my opinion. I have to watch the coils very closely to make sure this doesn't happen. If the silver comes off the spool, the machine will give an error message. Ruth
