This has its pros and cons. I like the built in juicer but the problem is with the top. Often when I try to unscrew the lid to use it, instead of a small part, a large chunk of the lid comes off, leaving you unable to use the spout. Alternatively, if I don't screw it very tight to avoid this problem, it leaks and the bandage flies all over the place. It's a bit tricky in the end, but I'll keep using it for the citrus feature.

This product has just the right amount of salad dressing for a family of 4 salad nights. Vinegar requires no additional measuring cups or spoons. Plus, you can easily make citrus vinaigrettes with the included citrus juicer (and removable/washable). I have recommended this item to all my friends.

Seriously, after 60 years of eating salads, dealing with store-bought dressings or homemade condiment bottles, finally a bottle that lasts. The detachable citrus juice nozzle is just awesome. This thing is so well designed and built, it never leaks, it's easy to shake, clean and use, we love it. Durable, pleasant to look at, fits perfectly in the hand, does not slip. Wow. I wish all products were so useful, thoughtful and satisfying.

Dispute about buying a Kitchendao or a highly acclaimed flip-top Oxo. Choose the Kitchendao because it has a bottle-style spout, which some reviewers say is better for thicker, creamier dressings than the narrow Oxo spout. That may or may not be true, but since my wife is a big fan of ranch clothing, I chose Kitchendao and am completely satisfied with my purchase. Sometimes a citrus press can come in handy. Everything closes tightly and comes apart easily, and two of these fit perfectly…

I bought this to make and store salad dressing after trying a few others that didn't work. I chose this one in part because it has its own juicer, which makes it a lot easier than messing up a second appliance. The other reason, which honestly mattered more to me, was that it can be washed in the dishwasher. I love this thing! I was able to make a lemon dressing without pulling out extra pieces of laundry and when we're done eating it we throw it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it's ready

UPDATE: After submitting the review below, this company immediately stood up and did the right thing. Two stars against five, happy. I don't know why my particular shaker failed - it happens, it's not their fault. But Kitchendao gave me no apology, which is rare these days. I got nothing but understood and replaced the bottle in record time. I would buy this bottle again and again - or any of their products without hesitation. Quality, functionality and customer orientation. Well done…
