Very useful when using the microphone and the battery is almost empty. You can go ahead and connect to power without disconnecting the microphone. Must be in Drift Cams, especially their combo packs. I also use it with my Hero 3+ BE.

I received this cable to use with my Drift Ghost 4k+ camera. This is particularly useful in part due to the camera's weak internal microphone and incredibly idiotic battery design, which makes it almost impossible to temporarily change batteries, let alone be on the go.
