So far, so good! on Power & Hand Tools

I lay tiles professionally. So far so good, bought 3" and 4" and drilled 4 holes in each for a recent client project where we use large format tiles with body sprayers throughout. Did the job. We'll see how long they last next year. Cutting china is fine, just hard to get started. We made a hole in the plywood template as a guide and pressed it against the tile.

Pros
  • No need for a grinding machine anymore. Use wet with water. Not for dry use. Cuts through ceramic, porcelain, glass, marble, granite. Drill depth 1-1/8 inch.
Cons
  • Dear

Coolest tool in my box

Do you have a paver that needs a 4" hole? This is your tool. Do you have a concrete slab that needs a 4 inch hole? It will. Do you have a wood wall that needs a 4 inch hole? Take this tool. We used it to make a 4" hole in a 2" concrete block. We stuck this tool in a cordless drill, used a water hose to keep the rock wet, and this thing went through the foam like a hot wire. I was looking for something else that needed a 4 inch hole.

Pros
  • DUST-FREE AND FAST Large holes for floors, wall tiles, toilet cutouts, shower bypass valves. 4" Hole Saw Drill Bit
Cons
  • Ugly Package

Cutting was not very fast, but stable.

Laying a 10mm thick marble tile floor (my first tile project). I had to make a 4" hole for the main drain in the center of a 12" x 12" tile. I chose this product to get the job done. With the help of plumbers, he covered the water and kept it in the box. It also held the cut in place since it doesn't have a pilot drill guide. The power (older drill with less power) was when the drill punched through the bottom of the hole. I slightly missed the first hole and had to drill a new one in the…

Pros
  • We recommend holding the diamond hole saw between clamped pieces of wood as shown in the description.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
