The coasters are great but the stand is flimsy and the coasters fall off easily. Scratched the table as they fell.

. When first used, small pieces often fall off the edge of the coasters. I don't use the stand that came with the kit, so the poor design of the stand doesn't bother me.

Gray stone slate looks very cool. But dude, it doesn't absorb sweat/liquid at all! Terrible. The liquid just sits on top and either spills when you pick it up or dries up over time, leaving a stain or film on the stand. Not good, which is a shame because I like the style. I will turn back.

Very nice looking but nothing more. Once you put them on the stand, you can't put them on the table because they will leave tiny scratches on the wooden table when you move the stand. When they are on the stand, they do not rise above the table. So when moving the stand around the table, prepare for a long trail of many scratches as well.

They look great on my hammered silver bedside tables and work great. The lower part is made of felt, so there are no scratches on the surface. They are thin but heavy and absorb moisture so cups/glasses don't stick to the bottom. Anyway, great looking with nice holder included, plus very well packaged. The price is great, I definitely recommend it.

It doesn't matter because they're cheap coasters after all, but understand they're cheap for a reason. Some of them weren't perfectly flat which caused my glasses to shift/wiggle on them. Again not breaking the deal but a little annoying. Also, do yourself a favor and dunk all the coasters as soon as you get them. Otherwise you will get ring-shaped water stains. Really nice sturdy set of coasters. As mentioned in some other reviews, yes some coasters do touch countertops. when in the holder. I was able to easily fix this by simply squeezing the backs of the holder together just a few millimeters closer than they were. Now there is a gap and the countertop will not be scratched.
