doesn't work in fasteners

Unless you thread them through a layer of tissue paper thick material they won't work.

Dritz quality! in Snaps

I've been using these Snaps for over 40 years. It was exactly what I was looking for from a brand I can trust. I'm so glad to find her on Revane---

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Folds easily: Clasps

I tried using these with my regular clip to make a set of denim bibs. Each time I managed to crush at least part of the rig. Maybe they are not suitable for denim.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Protection

good quality, made in USA Functionality

I needed them that evening and the store had just such. Half a dozen snaps screwed up and none of them installed properly. I will never buy anything other than Dritz again. We have been using it for many years with no issues or problems. Simple, high quality, functional, made in the USA.

Pros
  • Clasps
Cons
  • Doubtful

They work well on fasteners

they work well. We use them when we don't need them to look pretty, and then we use 'pearl plated' for items that need to look pretty. They work well and we recommend them. We use a hammer with a set of tools that we had a long time ago. We need to replace the kit, so we're looking for those that also include a tool kit to use with a hammer.

Good quality product

Good quality product. They always work, even through relatively thick material. A couple of times I screwed up with the positioning and even managed to move it around with a screwdriver. The metal pins survived the second placement. I haven't tried any other brands so I can't honestly compare them to others but based on the quality I've experienced with them I won't try anything else.

Cons
  • No instructions
