Easy-to-use but very temporary patch

These were reasonably nice looking patches, but they aren't going to really last multiple uses and you might get 1-2 washes without them being completely peeled off. Pretty much an insurance policy until you can get to a store to buy another pair of jeans.

Pros
  • Washable and dry cleanable
Cons
  • got these and put them on the holes in my pants and they peeled right off within an hour of wear

Didn't stay put after one use

Unfortunately during the first wear the iron on wore off - however, I do think these are great patches and I then sewed around to keep them secure!

Pros
  • Saves time on taking clothing to be professionally mended
Cons
  • May not work well on decorative denim with embellishments or prints

Super patch!: my feedback

Super patches for my husband's jeans knees. He is always going through them but loves his favorite weekend pairs. I had tried another brand, they did not stick. These ironed on and have stuck like glue for four months now and going strong.

Pros
  • Can be applied in minutes
Cons
  • May not be suitable for repairs on denim with heavy fading

Color is off. for my opinion

The color is lighter than it appears in this picture. Otherwise, it was fine. It adhered as it should. My advice: Keep the iron on a lower setting than recommended, so you don't burn whatever you're ironing this onto.

Pros
  • Can be used to add patches for style rather than repairs
Cons
  • May not adhere well to denim treated with certain fabric softeners or detergents

wrong color - my new review

I ordered stonewash. I received dark blue. Too much of a hassle to send back. Guess I will just eat the cost. May not be suitable for repairs on denim with a lot of distressing!

Pros
  • Provides a neat and tidy finish
Cons
  • May not be suitable for repairs on denim with a lot of distressing

Won't stay in place!

Disclaimer: I believe these are meant for the outside surface of jeans. That being said, I can't get these to stay put on the inside of my jeans for anything. They'll stick, but they just peel off after a day of wear. I've tried about 4 different times with no luck. I can't imagine that they'll work very well on the outside of jeans.

Pros
  • Easy to use with iron-on design
Cons
  • Limited size options

Inconsistant color on the back

These are single sided! They are meant to be used on the outside of the garment rather than the inside. If you want to fill a hole in your jeans from the inside, go with uncoated denim patches and use stitch witchery. These also require very high temps to adhere, which makes it hard to go across seams.

Pros
  • As advertised
Cons
  • Patches lasted about two months before the adhesive stopped working. Pants are now cut down to shorts.

Not very strong; came off after a few washes.

Title says it all I think. I have no real experience with these things. I can't say if it's better or worse than other brands. My hole wasn't hugeIt wasn't in an seamed, bendy or overly stressed areaand I followed the directions to the letter.Fail.

Pros
  • Resistant to wear and tear
Cons
  • Not suitable for waterproofing repairs

High quality and easy to apply

Excellent - perfect for repairing my husband's jean within less than 5 minutes. Simply cut to size and iron on. That's my review.

Pros
  • Easy iron-on application requires no sewing
Cons
  • Not much luck with these. They came off almost completely after one wash and dry.

Came off in one wash.

I bought these to patch my son's jeans. They started peeling or completely came off after just one wear and wash. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Can be used on multiple layers of fabric
Cons
  • May not be suitable for repairs in areas with heavy embroidery

Cannot wash this product!

Horrible patches. I ironed these until I was sure that they would stick. After one washing, they've come unglued. Waste of money.

Pros
  • Iron-on Transfers
Cons
  • Ironed on fine but came off as soon as I put something in my pocket

This sucks! on my review.

I tried use these patches but they peeled right off after I applied them. I thought it was me so I tried again and reread the directions. no luck, they peeled right off again. I kind of got one to stick and today I saw that it was peeling off. This sucks!

Pros
  • Great but comes off after two washes...no comprehensive directions but it shouldn't be needed.
Cons
  • Peeled off after the washings.

Not a great fix on my review.

Didn't really stick to the jeans, fell off after a few wears and washed. The sew on ones are probably better. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • High-quality material provides a professional looking finish
Cons
  • Patches may be difficult to apply without a steady hand

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Wish they would stick

I've followed the instructions to a t, tried them more than once to be sure it wasn't me, but after first use and before washing the patches will not stay on my jeans. They are easy to apply, but I'm unable to get them to work.

Pros
  • Use to repair garments, accessories, or other fabric items
Cons
  • Only 8 patches included - may not be enough for larger repairs

Not so great for my opinion

Weird color. Almost like that weird yellow-tinted light blue of 80s acid washed jeans, without the actual acid was. They don't really stick too well either when ironed on. I was trying to use them on a favorite pair of jeans that started getting holes at the knees. They lasted through three washes before starting to peel.

Pros
  • No need for sewing or special skills
Cons
  • May not work well on curved or irregular surfaces

Working great! best in my review

These patches worked even better than I'd imagined. I've used them on 5 pairs of my 6 yr old son's denim jeans. They fade well, and blend in well. They also remained attached firmly even after multiple washes. Also very easy to apply.

Pros
  • Can be used on various other clothing items
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for heavy duty repairs

Great for jeans for my opinion

I bought these to mend several pairs of my heavy cotton denim jeans, as well as some of my husband's, and they work great so far. The patches with the jeans have gone through many washes and still stick strong with no signs of loosening. One odd thing is that after ironing them on they caused a slight alteration in coloring to the front side of the jeans material outlining where the patch was attached on the back, but after a washing this isn't as visible.

Pros
  • Ideal for DIY home repairs
Cons
  • Ironing may cause the patch to warp or crinkle

Tore within two wears.

This patch lasted less than two days and tore down the middle. Used to patch a hole in the leg of a pair of jeans. I didn't have a problem with the application and was unable to use them long enough to see if the seal was satisfactory, though it seemed sturdy enough. but then, so did the fabric. Complete waste of money.

Pros
  • Sturdy patches that will not come off easily
Cons
  • May not be a long-lasting solution for heavily damaged or worn denim

Did not stick to denim

Could not get these to stick to the denim at all, despite super hot iron settings and multiple attempts. Waste of money edges did not adhere to the fabric as well as I would have liked.!

Pros
  • Did what it was supposed to do.
Cons
  • edges did not adhere to the fabric as well as I would have liked.
