I have an old Dell Inspiron 17R laptop and have decided to revitalize it for use as a streaming device. Received the hard drive earlier than expected. Installation was a bit tricky as the hard drive ejector screws were difficult to loosen. I had to ask my husband for help. Otherwise it was pretty easy. The laptop is working again and so far so good. Hooray!

I bought this hard drive as a replacement. The drive was easy to install and works well. This is great value. I recommend getting your hard drives through Revain.

So far it seems to be working on my mom's old Dell laptop. I paid computer specialists $130 to install this hard drive. The computer is very slow, but that's probably a feature of my mother's old computer.

I would highly recommend this drive. It was an easy replacement for my Dell Inspiron laptop. I was able to install Windows 10 Pro after installing the hard drive and it works like clockwork! This hard drive has been installed for about 2 months and is still working fine.

Excellent product. Very easy to install. Luckily I had seven year old backup disks when the computer was new. Restarting the operating system software went smoothly and luckily I backed up my data a week ago. The whole process of ordering, delivery, installation and setup felt like home for me. I've never seen the inside of a laptop and haven't had any problems. The next step. Update to Windows 10.

This hard drive does not work with Dell 1750 although it claims it will. The BIOS does not support 1TB drives and Dell has no updates for them. Do not believe false advertising, call mfg first. This disc has no markings to indicate who made it or appears to be refurbished and is being sold as new. Really got me. I hate liars.

There are many other problems with the computer but this went straight to my Dell 17R n7110 computer. The Dell computer itself is a little tricky to open but there is a great youtube video showing everything along with you. The hard drive booted right away when I plugged in the USB stick and Windows started normally. Works perfectly.

The connector has a plastic sleeve on the end (small 5 pin connector on one end). On my machine I had one side of the connector open for contacts and as a result this drive would not connect to my machine. I'm not saying this is a bad product, I'm saying make sure your connectors/terminals on the back of the drive match this.
