I'm a bit disappointed with the DryBar. I love all of their products, but I feel like the straightener should be set at a higher temperature than most I've used. I have fairly thin hair so I don't want to heat it up too much. It's good but below DryBar quality.

Be very careful. This iron can reach 450 degrees. Having coarse hair has always required higher temperatures, but this one literally fried my hair. I finally figured out what the "perm" smell was and LOWERED THE TEMPERATURE.

At first I really liked this product! I followed my hairdresser's advice and found this straightener to work well. I use an iron about 4 days a week. Yesterday I straightened my hair and the iron didn't work. One record was on listen, the other wasn't. For the price I expected this product to last longer. Very disappointing.

Wouldn't have lasted and the color literally peeled off the hair in the very first days of use! I read the reviews on the Drybar website and YES a lot of complaints about the same thing.
