I had no idea how many different connection options there are; and I didn't know I had ordered the wrong one. Revain was glad to have me back, but I suggest you make an effort to determine exactly what connector you need. (PS- it took me three! tries.)

Works great. There was a VGA adapter cable that worked before too. Connected my laptop to a monitor via a DVI port using this short HDMI adapter. And the colors and sharpness are actually better than with the VGA adapter. No more dangling cables. Simple, clean HDMI-to-HDMI connection now with accurate 1080p video from my laptop to the monitor.

Plug and play, easy. My monitor failed and I had a 32 inch TV that I wanted to use in a guest room and figured it would also be used as a computer monitor. No problems and connection took less than a minute. The picture quality is excellent. I would recommend this product if you want to use your TV as a computer monitor.

Ordered this to use with my old monitor that didn't have an HDMI input. The DVI converter works well and has a clear picture. You need to turn the monitor on and off for the laptop to recognize that the monitor is connected. I don't have this problem when connecting my laptop to monitors with HDMI ports. Not that big of a deal, just glad I can use the monitor for a bigger screen.

After I plugged the DVI-D to port converter into my monitor's DVI-D port, I connected one end of an HDMI cable to the converter and the other end connected to the HDMI connector. Display port of my KVM switch. The mouse and keyboard work through the kvm switch, but no monitor is found. However, when I unplugged the HDMI cable from the KVM switch and plugged it into my computer, the display worked great. These port converter features helped me diagnose a faulty display port on my KVM switch.

The graphics card (3 outputs) only had one HDMI connection, so I had to rebuild the monitor. Works perfectly. There's only one claim and there might be no issues with another monitor, but the thickness of the rubberized coating didn't allow it to crawl on one side. Just connected and so far so good! The connector is no larger than my actual DVI cables, so there is no problem installing it. The monitor turned on immediately when I plugged in the HDMI cable and everything looked fine. I couldn't get the screws on the side, but I only spent a few minutes trying, so it might just be me; I don't worry about this as I rarely move monitors or cables.
