At first sight these brushes are very pleasant. These are very well made brushes. I've compared the embossing brush to several other embossing brushes I have and the brush in this set is by far the best. They are strong and not cheap. The wild brush (the part that connects the handle to the brush) is firmly attached to each brush. The weight is not light. The bristles of the brush are very soft. This is a great buy! Full size brushes. Everything in individual packaging. The smell was a little strong, I washed them and left them. They are alright. Lots of shadows and small brushes. Which I love because I like different brushes for applying eye makeup and contouring. I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality brushes at a reasonable price.

I wanted to buy something inexpensive so I could use brushes more often. The foundation brush is great, soft and works really well. I'm a beginner so I didn't want to spend my arms and legs on brushes. The concealer brush didn't convince me. I've tried using it with a color corrector to blend it but it doesn't blend well and is a bit harsh (not sure if it should be). I went back to the concealer sponges. Go back to a foundation brush, but I'll look for another concealer brush that blends better

They are really very good. They are heavy in the hand because they are not cheaply made. I've washed them before use and haven't noticed any wear after washing or loosening on the handles (I don't wild wash my brushes, just to clarify) compared to other cheap brushes I've bought. So I would say they are definitely worth it. This is a great brush set to start with.
