Description of Dunlop Grandtrek AT22 265/60 R18 110H all season

The Dunlop GrandTrek AT22 is an all-season tire designed for off-road vehicles and light trucks. It is focused on application in the mode of 50% - ordinary roads and 50% - rough terrain. When developing this tire, the company''s specialists tried to take into account possible operating conditions. To do this, they had to use the latest technology and the latest achievements in the tire industry. When developing the tread, a computer simulation method was used, which made it possible to achieve the optimal arrangement of all tread elements. The Dunlop GrandTrek AT22 tire delivers the same confident performance regardless of the road surface (on-road, off-road, etc.). A special system of lamellas made it possible to achieve excellent acoustic comfort and excellent grip. Massive blocks in the shoulder area perfectly protect the tire from possible external damage that often occurs when driving off-road. Four zigzag grooves quickly remove water and snow from the contact zone and provide increased self-cleaning, due to this the tire has excellent handling and flotation. All these qualities have made the tire popular, not only among car enthusiasts, but also many automakers install it on their cars in the basic configuration: LEXUS LX570, TOYOTA LAND CRUSER 200.

I have these tires on my Toyota Cruz, I have been using excellent tires for many years now, they are comfortable to drive, they do not make noise, they have good grip. Sufficiently passable and without any difficulties you can get to the place of hunting and fishing. A big plus is tire durability. During the operation I am absolutely satisfied with the tires.

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

Rubber came with a car, used 4 summer seasons 1 winter. While the new one is normal, it further dubs and turns into Rosava Bts-4. Has pros: I live in the central lane, you can forget about seasonal tire changes. It is quite possible to drive around the city in winter. It is washed out in the mud, wet grass or a clayey area - does not go at all. Moderately durable. Not sensitive to rut. Has some cons: While the new norms, with wear of more than 50% at a speed of 50-60-70 km / h, a slight hum…

Good value for money, I recommend it.

These tires were on my Japanese as standard. The tires are wear-resistant, the mileage is more than 100 thousand, but they don’t wear out. Not noisy. I do not use it in winter, nor is it very comfortable, but you can ride. It is excellent to manage on asphalt, including on wet, in mud it is more or less comfortable, without extreme sports you can get to the right places.

Pros
  • Stylish look. Reliability, wear resistance
Cons
  • Didn't find it.

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

These tires were standard on the car. I tried to ride on snow / ice in the off-season, you can drive carefully. At the expense of all-weather in the range of -30 and 30, I doubt that winter tires are much softer. I would say these are summer tires, with the ability to drive in the off-season or light cold. I won’t say anything about patency, I didn’t have experience to test it.

Pros
  • * in the summer they hold the road well and the stopping distance is even shorter than expected. * they somehow hold the road in the snow, if carefully (or if necessary), then you can probably drive
Cons
  • * driving on snow and ice is not slippery, but the braking distance is increased * conditionally all-weather: I would not dare to drive in winter, in my opinion, winter tires will not replace

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Stood regularly on the car. Otezdil 4 summer seasons and 3 winter. It is very convenient that you do not bother with the shift when the first snow falls. At 90,000 km, I swapped the rear and front, because. the front sidewalls were worn out (my fault - I sharply entered the turns). In winter, they proved to be excellent - on the track on overtaking when rebuilding through a snowy mark (the main thing is without sudden movements) without problems. On a wet road (paved track) up to 130 km / h…

Pros
  • All-weather, no need to stand in queues in the autumn-winter period, also saving on tire fitting. Quiet. Excellent handling on wet and snowy roads. Increased wear resistance.
Cons
  • High price. Not suitable for "good" dirt. No longer produced.

Prado 150 without KDSS size 265 60 18 turned out to be a great tire everything is relative Now I'm wearing Michelin Latitude Cross - I thought better, but it seems I miscalculated Dunlop holds the road better, more collected, not much stiffer and SIGNIFICANTLY quieter Mishka may still get used to it and I’ll pick up the pressure, but for now the conclusion is simple: DUNLOP AT22 is an excellent tire for asphalt and prado in general it’s not worth changing, ride whoever has it and buy whoever…

Pros
  • + not noisy + well controlled on the pavement (even taking into account the roll of the car) + does not feel the rut very much and in general does not walk or chat + moderately soft and at the same time the car is controlled perfectly
Cons
  • - I wanted a little softer, like winter - a little less weight and so for the city / highway everything is fine
