This cable is a good solution for connecting a laptop to an audio system. It feels a little less durable than I would like but it will do the job.

Should have read other reviews, this product does nothing. Tried on multiple computers and operating systems. Nothing. The audio device was not displayed. The sound didn't go through.

I wanted to connect some small computer speakers to my desktop and needed one of these cables to do what I wanted. The cables are well made and work perfectly. Beautiful design and excellent value for money

I couldn't get any of my 3 computers (2 Power Macs running Catalina and 1 Windows running Windows 10) to recognize this USB cable to configure it for sound output to my receiver is yamaha.

Used it to copy 38 cassettes with Audacity on my 2013 MacPro. Works with a powered USB port, on a hub, or directly on a computer. It simply invokes the Audacity USB codec when plugged in, just like an Audio Technica player. I recommend to a friend.

I have over 900 tunes on a flash drive that work great in my car. I intend to use the same stick plugged into my stereo - no luck - no sound. Well, my fault - should have known. This cable needs juice on the RCA side. However, the receivers are waiting for the juice / signal to arrive, which the flash drive - on the female side of the USB - does not provide. We suggest including this fact in the product description.

As far as I can tell this cable is literally a straight patch between the data pins in the USB connector and the RCA connectors, of course it could always be for a niche application, or I could just be misusing it.

For weeks I've been trying to get stereo input from an old Sony player to digitize some albums that don't exist on CD. It looks well made, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it.
