A must for ATV and motorcycle owners

I've used both ATV and motorcycle tires. The seals are large and relatively light. Works best when recommended drill bit is used before attempting to plug tire. I saved hundreds of dollars by not changing my motorcycle's rear tire. Shortly after mounting, the tire was punctured with a small nail. After connecting, drove several thousand kilometers without any problems. I now carry a Dynaplug kit with a Co2 blower.

  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

I had to use two connectors.

They sat in my hot New Mexico saddlebag for several months and the accompanying one dried out in the umbilical. A small brass cap lost in the tire. BUT. The second, smeared with my saliva, looked like ABSOLUTE CHARM. My tire didn't even lose a pound of pressure due to the extreme temperature changes. Better than buying another $600 tire. I bought this spare pack to be absolutely sure I have more when I need them.

Had to use some regular sized puncture plugs

They work great with very small punctures but I have had trouble with regular sized punctures when repairing two different motorcycle tyres, the tires have been damaged by the most common culprits such as: bolts 6-10 gauge / 8-16 penny nails. I had to do 2 repairs on one ride, I used more than one plug on each repair (don't remember the exact number), I ran out of plugs on the second repair which only slowed the leak. They are compact, but a few plugs are needed to properly repair a motorcycle…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • No instructions

Punctured a motorcycle tire and pulled out a nail. At first all 5 connectors were glued together inside the holder and were very, very difficult to fit into the tube. Very very difficult to fit in the hole so I had to drill it out a bit. I used a leather punch from a small swiss army knife. Plugged it in and it leaked. Insert a second plug and still lick. I put 2 plugs back in the tire and tried the 3rd and 4th. Both passed. It's $8 down the drain. I got out of the car and took a "sewing…

These forks work great!

I only bought them because I needed more, they didn't go bad. This system is so easy to use that I've repaired more tires on my friends' cars than mine. Especially now with TPMS systems, a warning often appears shortly after a flat tire. It's much quicker than changing a tire, removing a nail, putting in a plug (repressurizing the tire if necessary) and moving on. Ride a real tire, not that stupid donut. Have your tire professionally patched when you get home at your regular tire dealer. By the

Absolutely and utterly useless

I have tried this "tool" on two tires several times. a motorcycle tire and an ATV trailer tire. Both tires are tubeless and both tires were new at the time of the puncture. I purchased this replacement pack of plugs after having had no success with the batch supplied. First, the plugs themselves are very sticky and barely get into the insertion tool, even if you clean it with the supplied tube. Cleanser. On my first and second try, the brass tip broke off the fork, rendering the fork unusable…

It's just a normal job. Period.

I've been using Dynaplug since the early 90's and have repaired 15 or 20 flat tires on various vehicles for myself and friends. Most repairs required only one plug, but in some cases 2 or 3 plugs were required if the hole was from a larger object. Not a single repair has leaked, including several run-flat tire repairs. This product just works. Repairs are carried out on site without removing the wheel from the vehicle. This fact allows for quick repairs to get you back on the road and possibly…

I wish I had known that earlier. So easy.

The following overview applies to the Dynaplug tool. This article aims to fill up that tool. Refills can be easily stored in the handle. After living in downtown Los Angeles for over 2 years, I've had about 5 bouts of tire leaks due to punctures. Before knowing about this product I was using the traditional do-it-yourself method to fix my tire with a kit I got from Pep Boys. It was always a tiring and arduous process. I'm not a very strong person and most of the punctures were small objects…
