I like the price and I was able to get the mount to work but some screws or maybe threaded holes came out VERY easily. If you can hang the projector perfectly level and the screws aren't tight enough to hold it at an angle, this might work, but if you need the projector at an angle that requires the screws to hold it in place to hold you there will probably be problems with this mount. I recommend paying more for better quality and I will most likely be replacing mine very soon.

This is a well made and fairly well designed ceiling mount. It is heavy and easy to assemble. My only criticism relates to the design of the UST (Ultra Short Throw) projectors. When using a laser-ultrasonic projector and a fixed screen size, zooming is not possible, so the distance to the screen must be able to be set accurately, and not just the tilt axis (post-processing can be easily done by adding a slot to the ceiling mounting plate). Purchased for use with the Optoma UHD50X which has three mounting holes relatively close together in a triangular pattern. The brackets that came with it fit easily, I didn't need the bracket extensions at all. I really appreciate that the box had all the necessary hardware with a bunch of screws and washers of various sizes, so I suppose this could fit almost any projector. Bought a Wimius model K3 projector. The recommended mount for this article was listed on Revain, so I said to myself, great! I can't align all four mounting screws. The brackets are not long enough. I had to use the height adjustment screw (for the desktop mount) as one of the holes to attach the mount. There are now only three mounts instead of four that attach the device to the mount.
