We have an old tube TV in our guest room. When we recently switched to satellite TV, there was a problem with the second receiver. It had no coax cable and the TV only had a coax input. This product works great and did exactly what I wanted it to do! I connected a second TV from my office to the kitchen and disconnected it from my satellite converter. Then I installed the HD box. My kitchen TV stopped working. The installer told me it "just doesn't work" with this new box. When I pulled out the converter box, I understood why. The coaxial cable was not connected there.
