🔌 Dyson 949852-05 Motorized Brush with Plastic Construction Review

Excellent brush. There are no animals in the house, but there are many shedding people. Any debris, including hair, collects perfectly from both laminate and carpets. The old one served exactly 5 years and the turbo + brush stopped spinning. Didn't look for repairs, just bought a new one

Doesn't fit my Dyson DC59 Animal. connection point problem. It comes together so no power is supplied to the motor head. Set up a refund within minutes of receipt.

Does not fit my vacuum cleaner. I even compared it by serial numbers. Unfortunately, the return trip from the US to Scotland costs $120. That's way more than it took me to buy this part. Lost all my money!

This product does not fit my model, although I checked before buying. Also, it arrived from the UK and now I have to pay for international shipping to send it back. So many free returns at Revain.

I quickly received this replacement motorized brush assembly and it worked the first time it was installed on a Dyson DC59 Pet Vacuum. My old assembly got stuck and a gear came loose - no solution. The only other place I checked was $229.00. This is a steal as it is brand new in the box. I can't say anything negative about this deal. It doesn't get any better than that.

Everything seemed fine at first, even though the new head looked different than our original. However, when we tried to connect the new head, it didn't fully connect; something seemed to be blocking or preventing the connection around the power connectors. I was hoping this would work as the price of the Revain is about half what Dyson is asking on their website.

Ideal as a replacement. Glad to find a deal on this unit as there is no way you want to pay half the price of a new vacuum just for this part. It's slick, but I would suggest investing in a better vacuum that will last longer. The brush can easily become clogged with hair, so it needs to be cleaned fairly often. If you do not do this, the side holders can become stressed and break. I would recommend choosing more reliable and durable brands.

For me these parts work great and fit both my animalistic DC59 which I keep below and my V6 which I keep above. They fit on the bars and fit perfectly straight onto my Dysons. I received only the motor head in a box with original Dyson parts, marked accordingly. The part number matches the description and it looks just like the picture. It looks exactly like my original Motörheads that came with my Dysons. I will update this review if the part fails but first use and first impressions are that…
