🧹 Dyson Inc. 967040-01 Brushroll: Purple/Red Service Assy for DC65/DC66/UP13 - Enhanced Cleaning Performance! Review

I was able to use the roller by removing the bearing bracket from my old brush roller. I have a DC65 Animal in an upright position. As you can see in the picture, the bearings are different. If you want to use the details from the old film then it will work.

My Dyson DC77/UP14 needed a minor repair after a few years of good service and I didn't want to throw the vacuum cleaner away by ordering a replacement brush as the original ones due to poor bearings and the fact that I wash them (apparently not recommended), were very noisy. OEM quality!

Third for a four year old vacuum cleaner. I have never seen such a disposable brush. The plastic breaks where the bearing is, causing the vacuum to vibrate horribly. In fact, Dyson recommends replacing them once a year, probably because they know they're junk. I've had ricars and even vacuums that have lasted ten years with no problems.

Product as advertised BUT not an exact replacement. The mounting flanges on the ends are not the same as on my model and I had to remove the old flanges, replace with a new item and then install. This required a torx screwdriver (which I had). Keep in mind that the average homeowner may not be able to remove and replace these simple parts.

Our Dyson broke (we have since replaced it with a Shark for a different reason) and I found a website that has the exact same part would sell. . I don't remember the exact cost, but the part I was able to get here was exactly the same and significantly cheaper. I was thrilled (at the time) that I could save the vacuum cleaner by fixing this broken part. Unfortunately after a few months the Dyson had completely expired and we had to buy a new vacuum cleaner.

I was concerned this is not the part number listed in the parts breakdown for the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal (model UP14). I took a chance and ordered it as reviews from other Revain customers seemed to suggest it would work. It really fit in the right can and definitely upgraded the vacuum to its original level of cleaning. The replacement was very easy as instructions and new replacement mounting hardware were included in the box.

Item came much earlier than expected. What a lifesaver! Original OEM part. It fits perfectly on my Dyson Animal Ball model UP13. Installation took about 5 minutes. Instructions included.
