🔌 Dyson Aftermarket Vacuum Cleaner Switch: Enhance Your Cleaning Experience Review

Packing for the move, I dumped the Dyson on its side and hit the power button. I've had the vacuum for about 8 years now and I really like it so I decided to fix it (check out some YouTube videos). It's a little tricky to take the vacuum apart but once it's apart it takes 2 seconds to swap the switch and I replaced both just in case. These switches glide effortlessly across and perform like a champ.

The replacement part worked great. Repair video is good. However, when I removed the back as instructed, the power button and brush button popped out, as did a couple of springs. I was able to find out in one spring. Now the on/off switch works fine but the extension hose won't turn on. Anyone know where the longer spring goes? It's a Dyson 25, the video doesn't show it. Thanks for any help.

The switch is perfect for what I need. Someone made a great video! The bushings were very difficult to remove from the old derailleur and I actually never took them off until I noticed that the derailleur started to stick when I pushed it down (the problem was it wouldn't stay down to maintain a vacuum). So I connected it and indeed it works. Let's see how long, so I'm still holding on to my spare switch.

Yes, it's true that this is an easy fix to the pesky Dyson problem I love so much! My previous Dyson repair (under warranty) took 6 weeks. The same part failed again under warranty (WOW!) but this part was a perfect replacement for my DC25 and now it's working great again. It literally took longer to find the right screwdriver to remove the screws than it did to swap out and reassemble the switch. back to service immediately

The second time around the Dyson Pet Ball had a switch failure. The first time it was under warranty and when I walked into the store it was full of Dyson and he pointed out it was a faulty switch design. This second failure was out of warranty, so I decided to take a chance and buy the Switch after watching a YouTube video or two about the exchange. I was very happy to find this part at such a great price here at Revain. This was exactly the part I needed for my broken Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum switch.
