factory replacement.

Dyson claims this filter is a filter for life. For me, that means I never have to replace it. My filter was pitch black inside. This is a Dyson factory replacement part. My vacuum cleaner now works like new.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No mold required

Perfect replacement for OEM

*Special Note* You will need two of these filters (one for each side of the ball). I didn't really notice until I was about to take the vacuum apart. This was an OEM replacement for our Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal upright vacuum. The exchange was easy.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

Resolved suction problem

Vacuum suction was difficult, bypass was easily cut off. After making sure there weren't any blockages in the hoses or the dust collector, I decided to replace them. They're expensive, but a lot cheaper than buying a new vacuum cleaner. This is the first time these filters have been replaced, I've had a vacuum for a number of years and they use it extensively.

Pros
  • Wide area
Cons
  • Interval

Original DC 77 replacement filters

A good filter to replace the old ones (need 2) in the DYSON DC77. The filters are expensive but fit perfectly. A full set of 2 costs about $70, but they are necessary to prevent the engine from burning out if the old ones are clogged. My DC 77 still has the original "No Filters Needed" sticker. Strange .

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fits perfect, looks real, shame no screws included

Replacing both filters caused my Dyson Cinetic Big Ball motor to cool down a lot. Now he doesn't smell anymore. When I took it apart I used compressed air to blow out the motor and a lot of dust came out. They were replaced after 5 years. I wish it came with screws because the head comes off easily on one of the existing ones.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

An OEM part that restores suction power.

These two filters take about 10 minutes to install, but the performance gain is worth it. You'll need to remove about five screws on each side, but it's not too difficult. (YouTube video helps if you have reservations) We have had a dog for years and after changing the filter the vacuum smelled less than the old Beagle did when it was working. All in all, an affordable way to keep your Dyson running smoothly.

Pros
  • As everyone has done before
Cons
  • Makes me angry
