A breath of new life for an old tablet

The only tricky part was fitting the new connector assembly as the outer bezel overlapped a bit. The kit came in handy, and after replacing the part, the tablet charged like new. I would happily recommend this part and supplier to anyone looking to get the most out of their Tab S!

Works great and you can't beat the price!

The kit contains all the necessary tools. I used one of several YouTube videos I found there for instructions. The job requires patients and good eyesight, but nothing else. I changed the battery while disassembling. All in all, I have my tablet as good as new in less than 30 minutes, and it's a lot cheaper than paying someone else to do the work.

Fixed one problem, created another

This product is a direct replacement. As I started to install, I noticed that the SD card slot was defective. The SD card will not lock or read the SD card.

Now I can charge my tablet. However, the SD card is not read.

So far everything is fine loading. However, the SD card is not shown or "recognized". I formatted several SD cards in 8GB, 32GB and 128GB. None of them are visible even in recovery mode. I unplugged the ribbon cable three times to ensure the connection. Still no SD card.
