I love the fact that this topper has a solid clip that secures it to the tree rather than one of those flimsy spirals that tend to bend to one side. Good quality and we like the projection of snowflakes on the ceiling! Very glittery so if you don't like glitter then this isn't for you! I just want it to be metal instead of plastic just because I'm afraid of breaking it when the jewelry is packed and put away.

I ordered several different tree projectors and in the end I liked this one the best. The clip that attaches it to the tree was large and strong, while other models' clips felt flimsy or had none at all. I also like how the projection gets bigger the farther from the ceiling and I would like my tree to be a bit shorter. I noticed that the motor that spins the projector sphere got a little louder and sounded clearer after use. (about 6 weeks of work for 4-12 hours a day).

The projector is great, the lights are bright yellow (not white) :-(. I was afraid it would be tasteless, but it is very beautiful and somehow ethereal because it looks like the northern lights near the head and halo - but it has 2 problems: The main problem is that the large, solid bottom clip doesn't protrude past the Angel's back. So you need to have a sufficiently strong top of your tree and either bend it or cut it under the base of the angel and just above the clip. I really like this Star Topper. Its bright and vibrant colors are bold enough to be seen well during the day. I took most of the photos during the day. Only 2 out of 7 photos were taken at night. The topper feels solid and the clip holds up well too. We'll see if that's still the case when we put up our Christmas tree in a few weeks. The only thing that could be a problem is if you have a thin/weak tree. It's a bit heavier and I could foresee it leaning forward if you're trying to attach it to…
