    At first I was disappointed because this product didn't eliminate the smell afterwards.

    I don't know about stains because I use it on black carpets, but it really helps with the smell. I have an older kitten who decided to pee and poop on the carpet in our living room. At first I was disappointed because this product didn't get rid of the smell after a treatment or two. It actually took over five treatments for the urine smell to go away from our carpet, but in the end it worked, and very well. All it takes is persistence and a few treatments.     I am odor sensitive and this cleaner neutralizes odors without smelling and fills your home like no other product I have tried. It reduced the bright yellow bile stain on carpets months after I tried many other products for the stain to no avail.     Effective to use but less economical than Nature's Miracle

    Can't fault this for effectiveness - it got rid of the cat pee smell. However, to achieve this goal I ended up using almost half a bottle at one point as it required multiple applications. Did. However, the Nature's Miracle brand (a version made specifically for cat pee) was half the price, making it a more economical solution.
