I bought this speaker to go with my Mackie CR4 studio monitors that I use on my desktop computer. I think it fits perfectly! Not overloaded, CR4 balances very well. It's also true to size and fits nicely under a desk next to a tower computer. A NOTICE. I am using this setup in a 300 square foot room with carpet flooring and a vaulted ceiling. I seriously doubt the same results will be achieved in a hard floor room.

Good looking construction. The controls and ports worked as advertised. It was more than I expected despite checking the measurements. The sound was too loud and loose for my application. I had to turn the volume down just above minimum to mix the bass with what was coming out of my other speakers. A good choice when you really want to "feel" the bass. If you want to hear the sound that's out there, you might want something with a thicker sound and a sealed enclosure.

I use this subwoofer in my 2.1 stereo listening room which already has a 10" clip (behind my bed) and a 4x4" Dayton Sound subwoofer (under my desk) which I use for movies.
