Works very well. I have already used it to connect my Kinect 360 to my new laptop. I had a hard time making my Kinect visible to Skanect. Tip for all Kinect for Xbox 360 Install Kinect SDK 1.8 and driver for Kinect for Windows before connecting USB. Plug in your Kinect and restart your computer. When I plugged mine in, the cable to my PC got very hot, the cable was very flexible and the PC gave a USB error and shut down. After I unplugged it from my PC, it continued to heat up that section of the cable. The Kinect never blew up and I hope it's not damaged.
