A thin, silky blanket. Does not fit properly on L-shaped chaise longues. I should have saved money and bought a nice blanket. I haven't tested it for waterproofing, but I doubt it.

Not quite a case. It's just a cover that partially covers the pillow. There's no way to secure it, so it curls up in a heap when you sit on it. It is not recommended to use it as a sofa cover.

I bought this on purpose because my large Saint Bernard drools when he sleeps. It's not waterproof at all. Nothing is better than a blanket. Protects well from hair and dirt, but the blanket can't do anything. Very annoying that there is no protection against water.

Not waterproof! I liked that it covered my L section but my older Chi wrote on it and it went right through! Luckily the sofa company didn't remove the plastic underneath the pillowcase so all I had to do was wash it. But if they took off the plastic, the urine would run through the cotton and foam! Lesson learned.

Very thin and not entirely waterproof. Much thinner than I expected and the product is not waterproof. My son had friends and there was a stain on the cover. The liquids soaked in, I quickly pulled it off the couch to avoid getting the trainer wet. On a positive note, due to the thinness of the sofa cover, it's easy to throw in the wash and wash and dry quickly.

I was disappointed with how thin the material is - I tested it for water resistance and it just soaked up water. So I wouldn't expect this to make a difference if your pet throws up or pees on the couch. I'm too lazy to return it so I just put a puppy mat underneath and it's done. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's really trying to protect their sofa - a blanket would probably offer more protection.
