Optimized Aluminum Diesel Fuel Cap for Dodge: Easy-to-Hold, Hidden Magnetism, Compatible with 2013-2018 Dodge Ram Truck 1500 2500 3500 Review

I've always been concerned about water getting into my diesel due to the capless design on my 2013. R.A.M. This cap allays my fears a bit. The o-ring (with a spare provided) fits snugly, and the smaller knurled handle on top makes it easy to remove. Finishes and overall quality are excellent.

Although advertised for Ram EcoDiesel it also fits Silverado/Sierra 1500 Diesel Some other versions are magnetic not mine. Easy to install and easy to remove for filling. I work on a construction site and this prevents dust and dirt on diesel residue from sticking to the fuel cap.

Quality optics, does the job and looks a lot better than the factory plastic. However, the magnet that is supposed to hold the gas cap on the fuel filler flap (or anywhere else) is not strong enough. Mount it on the bed rail, it's not going anywhere... attach it to the fuel filler flap or the bed... and you'll lift it off the ground.

Fits very well and has a clasp. Much nicer than what is in stock. If you need a replacement, get this one. Also, it becomes harder for those who use your truck to mistake a DEF tank for a fuel tank and pull up the wrong tank because the covers look very different - different sizes, but one is metal.

Not stated to fit later models. I have a 2020 and it fits perfectly. The only problem is that the tether plug is a bit big for the factory hole. Let's just say if you have a diesel you have a drill and a small drill and you can make it work if you need to tie it down. For $10, it's almost $50.00 less than what sheep thieves want for cheap plastic sheep.👍
