I bought these because we occasionally drink wine and wanted to keep it in the fridge without ruining the wine. The lids are good, comfortable, have not leaked. The only condition: the neck of the wine bottle must not be too big, otherwise the lids will not close. It fits most bottles, I've only had big ones that didn't work. I happened to take 2 different wine bottles from the wine fridge and closed them with corks. Seemed to be working fine until I hit the cork which then loosened it and when the wine bottle was tipped it leaked profusely. The cork doesn't expand when the lever is engaged, so the bottle neck needs to be the perfect size for them to work. Very nice, high quality, I wanted to keep it but not when I need to be sure it's the right size bottle I've grabbed. Disappointed, sent back

This product definitely does not meet the advertised specifications. When I first took it out of the box it looked like cheap plastic, but I carried on. I put it on top of my open wine bottle, it didn't seem to fit very well so I had to do it a couple of times. I put the bottle in the fridge as recommended by the company and it leaked. Not much, around 10ml, but still more than their "No More Spill" slogan promises. For what you're spending, I'd spend a little more and get better.

It's basically two parts, a rubber stopper that fits into the bottle neck and a U-shaped collar piece that snaps onto the bottle neck and holds it in place Plug. The bottom of the "edge" of the bottle finish, under which the collar portion must pass, must be no more than 1/2 inch (13mm) from the top opening of the bottle. The diameter of the neck of the bottle just below this "lip" must not exceed 27mm (1-1/16 inch). The collar just doesn't click on the three bottles I have.

I like it very much. I'm not a big wine lover. When I have wine, I usually drink a glass and then forget that it has been in the fridge for days. I've tried different wine corks but they all didn't work. I went for this one and not only is it great with a slight clog, but it really keeps things fresh. Purchased for use in a picnic backpack that has room for 2 bottles of wine and plastic glasses. Trouble is, if you haven't finished your wine, you need to find a safe way to recork or (ah!) throw it away. safely protected in the padded side pocket when carried. Good design work! Well done. My only minor complaint is that the company should make the bottle cap a little larger in diameter. My plugs don't leak, but I can imagine them shrinking and leaking a bit in the future.

I've had it for a few months now and have tried it on about a dozen different bottles. Unfortunately none of them worked. I took this cap out of a Nappa Ridge Cabernet bottle today and found that this AVINA bottle cap has been almost it was used continuously in December 2016 - that's 3.5 years of almost uninterrupted use. This one is NOT leaking YET, it works just as good as the first time I bought it. They don't fit very well in the tall bottles that my favorite wine is filled in. I'm looking for something else that will allow me to keep my wine on its side in the fridge after opening. This product seems like the perfect idea, but it needs a little ridge to hook it to a certain spot on the bottle to prevent spills.
