After reading some reviews and looking at the price I was very cautious but was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, it's not the most durable piece of furniture, but it fits very well for what it is. I was able to place it perfectly in the wall unit and easily put 2-4 pairs of shoes on the shelf. So far so move or break so I'm happy!

This shoe rack came with many missing parts. All the small details holding the central part were missing. I just had the long metal parts of the bar, the plastic that goes in the middle and that's it. The rest came in the wrong size. I had to return the money but then I used my head and got wooden sticks from a home storage facility and so I ended up building a shoe rack out of 20 pieces of wood that I had to carve myself. So the shoe rack cost more money.

This is very easy to assemble. I was drawn to this because my entryway has a narrow wall that is better served by a taller, narrower shoe rack. BUT you must stick to the possibility of having multiple different heights for the levels. My lowest level is the highest and easily fits into winter boots. It's definitely solid and doesn't take long to install. I personally underestimated the size of this item and for some reason am not sure what dimensions clicked in my head when I ordered it. They give you enough parts to assemble and even a few extra parts in case you damage a part or whatever, so that's a plus. I personally think it's more suitable for children's shoes or if you're only planning a couple of pairs of shoes as an adult and I would say 2 to 3 pairs in a row depending on foot…
