    Handsome Dave. Bad storage.

    I really like this device. Indeed. The form factor is good, it would be great to carry things from phone to work and back. but that pesky old "lets you check the drive to make sure it really is what it says". a voice in my head started yelling for me to check the driveway. When you plug this USB flash drive into an outlet, it goes in smoothly. Windows recognizes it right away and if you look at the properties it's around 512GB. So far, so good.     Does not fit data storage

    I was hoping it would be ok but unfortunately it is not. First it was uploading pictures, which was easy. Then he just stopped. Now I'm trying to add a photo and what I get is a file that's 30-40 years old and when I can open it it's completely black. It also seems that the connection with my iPhone is unreliable even without a case. I may have received a defective flash drive but it is being returned.

    WRONG VEHICLE! only 1/10 of the stated capacity. 56GB only, not 512GB

    I don't usually review products, but this is fake. It's disguised as a 512GB drive, but any files/images/videos that exceed the 56GB mark are corrupted and won't display properly. I also scanned the product with h2testw and it confirms this claim ("56.5GB OK" and "443.3GB DATA LOST" - see attached image).     Fake Drive: Computers and Accessories

    This is a fake drive. This is a reprogrammed USB 1.1 that failed factory quality control and was then flashed to report a larger size. Anything over 40% isn't actually written to Flash, it's discarded, although the copy appears to work. The Vendor ID has been rewritten to 12345678 and the size programming in the chip is even messed up: a return shows exactly 10000MB (not GB) and another register conflicts with the 5000MB programming.     I have been using this device for more than a month and am thinking of returning.

    I'm still having trouble writing to the full capacity of the disc. When recording at full capacity, data appears to be written first when data is placed on a disc and when it is moved to viewing them on another computer, about half of the data appears to be missing/missing. The folder structure is preserved, but the contents of these folders disappear in about half of them. In fact, in my experience, the drive only seems to be holding half the capacity it should be holding.
