I like the original quality and packaging. It comes with a pouch, but it's not that convenient as you have to remove the flexible hose to put it away each time. It comes with 3 needles which is nice too and they seem to be good quality needles (they don't break when you put them in the ball). My biggest issue is the smaller size of the pump. Unlike the cheaper, store-bought versions, it takes a lot of pumps to inflate the ball. I wish it was a little bigger to reduce the number of pumps needed.

I was glad to get this because it was just what I needed to keep my speedbags at 5psi. However, this will result in air escaping during inflation and will continue to allow air to escape through the valve when the needle is in your ball. I have to hurry and inflate to the right pressure and then quickly remove the needle or I'll lose all PSI and it will go back to zero. I've played soccer and basketball all my life. I'm in my 40s now, but I still do both. I have tried many cheap big brand pumps and none of them compare to this pump. A pressure gauge with the perfect pressure zones for each type of ball is fantastic. The construction is solid and very easy to use. A must have for any amateur player, coach of any level or professional to quickly maintain the correct pressure on a basketball, soccer ball or volleyball. $20 is a bargain for this product.

I had an old plastic double action (inflates air when compressed and expanded) that worked great until my little one picked it up. Wanted a replacement and tried this one. Not much to say but it's easy to use, it takes less than a minute to take the tube and needle and screw everything in or take them apart for travel/transportation. I can't tell you how much I LOVE cable or whatever we call it; It just makes it MUCH easier to inflate the ball without worrying about power angle and needle bend and all that.
